I have been involved in the childcare industry
for the past 14 years. My involvement has been
varied over the years, moving from team
member to team leader to managing my own in
home care business and as a Visiting Teacher.
This role has ranged from nurturing
and growing children of all ages.
I am passionate about guiding the
next generation to reach their full potential and
to be kind and respectful. I believe all cultures
play a part in shaping our community to be
strong and diverse. My background in early
childhood education and understanding of te
whariki have allowed me to understand the
importance of biculturalism and
multiculturalism and look at situations
empathically. These values are evident in the
upbringing of my three children.
I have a bubbly, easy going personality as well
as empathy and respect which is shown through
all areas of my teaching practice.
