  • I was responsible for achieving budgeted sales and margin targets by engaging and meeting with my North Island customers on a regular call cycle
  • I was also required to develop new opportunities to achieve growth within the North Island territory for the Nelson Packaging brand
  • Performed effectively in self-directed work environment, managing day-to-day operations and decisions.
  • Met with customers to discuss and ascertain needs, tailor solutions and close deals.
  • Within the first 6 months I have achieved the targets and goals set by the National Sales Manager and even finished top of 160 sales staff for Bunzl in Australia/New Zealand for margin target with an 127% margin average for year ending 2022.
  • Due to a substantial loss of customers in the South Island region of which was not part of my territory, Bunzl Australasia made some decisions around the direction of the Nelson Packaging business in New Zealand and unfortunately I was one of a number of staff that was made redundant which I found at the time extremely confusing as I had progressed the profile and customer base in the North Island.

  • I originally joined Armitage to help set a fire systems maintenance company for them
  • Starting with a totally blank client base I helped this new division of the company build up to be one that now has a major share of the Auckland market place

  • This has turned out to be the one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs I have had

  • By 2003 I successfully applied for a role as a multi-skilled tester as a need to up skill myself and progress into other areas of the company
  • With a wealth of fire industry knowledge I was again promoted to Business Development Manager mid-way through 2005
  • This role involved finding and signing up new and existing clients to a complete fire system maintenance package.
