Timothy Luamanuvae

Talofa, my name is Timothy Luamanuvae. I have recently relocated to New Zealand from Samoa where I served the Ministry of Finance for several years. I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Marketing. I am a seasoned accountant looking for an opportunity that will not only challenge me professionally but also allow me to develop my knowledge and potential further.

• Backyard Barber, 2017 - Present: I have been a barber for 7 years as a side hustle and found its contributed greatly to both my time management and attention to detail skills. This has also developed my marketing and customer care skills, through constant socializing with people of all backgrounds, as well as creating social media content to promote my craft.
• Aumaga Dance Group Leader, 2021 - Present: Created a safe space for Pasifika men to gather and share our mental struggles through cultural dance.
• Choir Conductor & Pianist, 2016 - Present : Directed and taught fifty people choir nuances and techniques for worship. Planned and executed the launch of our very first Gospel CD.
• Youth Member, 2016 - Present : Facilitate monthly community outreach programs. Engage with people of various age groups and backgrounds, building my confidence in relationship management.
• Youth Leader, 2021 - 2022: Initiated and led a project, resulting in the establishment of the first study centre in our village. Held fundraisers, created budgets and financial reports. Helped youth deal with issues through counseling and mentoring.
