Timothy Young

I am a fourth-year student studying a Bachelor of Surveying at the University of Otago. I am seeking employment opportunities in Western Australia.

My time at Northern Land and Candor3 have given me invaluable experience in a range of surveying methods such as cadastral, engineering, construction and land planning. I have also become proficient in industry standard software 12d, BricsCAD and AutoCAD. I like to live a balanced lifestyle and stay active outside of the office. I am excited at the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience to contribute to a new professional environment.

I am very active outside of the workspace and enjoy surfing, rugby, running and hunting. 

Each of these activities have taught resilience, determination and teamwork skills which I use everyday.

My love for running led me to run a 60km ultra-marathon to raise $2000 for men's mental health and the Movember foundation. I also took part in the "Run for Radical Research" where each member had to run 100km in a month to support fundraising efforts and raise awareness for free radical cancer research.
