I have successfully completed my CAP at Ara Institute of Canterbury and CDHB Christchurch , with my APC currently in progress.

Throughout my clinical placement, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that aligns perfectly with the demands of a colorectal surgery ward. My experience includes providing preoperative and postoperative care to surgical patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

I am adept at assisting with procedures such as colectomies, ileostomies, and colostomies, and I am committed to providing compassionate and competent care to patients at every stage of their surgical journey during my CAP programme.

Moreover, I possess strong communication skills that enable me to effectively educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and postoperative care requirements. I am also skilled in maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols.
