I have worked in the building industry for ten years in the United Kingdom, for a family-run property development company. During this time, I worked with different trades on site, and under supervision learnt how a house is built, from the first trench to be dug, to the last coat of paint on the walls, and everything in between.
That is where I discovered a passion for carpentry.
Following this, I went to Guildford and Nescot Colleges to gain my qualifications in carpentry level 1 and 2.
During this time, I was able to further develop my skills and apply them in a practical way in the workplace.
I am ambitious, dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about working in the building trade.
I enjoy being part of a team, and thrive in a friendly working environment.
I look forward to starting a new job here in New Zealand, and having the opportunity to utilise the skills that I have gained whilst studying and working in the UK.
