  • This involved working with the client to develop a clear and detailed brief for our design team
  • I also was tasked with pitching the concepts to senior leadership which resulted in approval of one of the concepts
  • Influenced the Electrical Workers Registration Board to take an alternative approach to their marketing activity
  • This resulted in the board increasing its overall marketing spend as per my recommendation and marketing plan

ENGAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS ADVISOR

  • In this role I was responsible for designing, producing and delivering marketing and communications campaigns closely with a number of business units within MBIE, including the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA), Consumer Protection and the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) to help them reach and engage with their audiences effectively
  • Lead Consumer Protection's procurement of an agency partner
  • This project was a closed competitive tender process where we briefed four agencies from around Wellington
  • My role was to manage the procurement process from start to finish ensure the business adopted the agency best suited to enable them to achieve their goals
  • Designed and delivered the Immigration Advisors Authority Marketing program
  • With an incredibly small budget, I was able to deliver effective marketing campaigns within New Zealand and offshore that enabled the IAA to meet their business objectives

I am a keen golfer, and I recently helped my club run a consultation process on a proposal to sell club-owned land. For this project, I led the communications approach, helping members understand the benefits of the sale The result of this work was that the vote to sell the land passed, and the club is now working towards being in a stronger financial position
