At The Shoe Clinic Invercargill I:

• Was taught how to fit shoes specifically to a person and their needs. Which meant listening to what the customer needed the shoe for and what they thought was necessary.
• Would ask the customer frequent question to help my knowledge of selecting the right shoe for the them.
• Frequently answering phone calls from customers that had questions about shoes and stock levels.
• Would accept stock into our system and send stock back to the wholesalers.
• Would actively listen to my co-workers and take on any knowledge or advice they had towards improving my skills of work.

At The Warehouse I:

• Was always engaging and helping customers with showing them where to find something or letting them know if something was in stock.
• Was always willing to help any customer that came to me for help, no matter their gender, race, age, or people with disabilities that weren't as capable.
• Would make sure that all the shelves were stocked up, and ensuring that the whole size range of clothing and shoes were available to the customers.
• Ensure that the environment around me was hazard free, for example picking things up off the ground that could be tripped on.

At Nga Kete I:

• Swept and mopped floors to remove any spilt liquid or crumbs to create a safer environment.
• Wiped all windows, desks, keyboards, computer screens, handles, and any surfaces to remove all germs and bacteria that had been collected, to therefore provider a healthier working space.
• Would take out all the rubbish bags, ensuring that they all went in their specific bins, as this was a doctors practice so putting needles and other unsafe contents into the right bin was crucial.
• Would make sure that the waiting room and all the offices were clean and tidy so that the customer would feel as comfortable as possible.
