Administrator/Marketing Specialist (Part Time)

  • Provide support and marketing advice to General Manager and Artistic Director on aspects of Marketing and Administration- enabling smooth day-to-day operations and engaging, innovative and cost effective execution of Marketing Plan in-line with strategic goals.
  • Manage Escape Schools' Festival-sourcing appropriate schools and artists/authors for school visits, co-ordinating dates, times and transporting Artists to schools for inspiring talks with students.
  • Provide assistance to GM in all areas of delivery of Escape Festival/Tauranga Arts Festival- including co-ordination of sponsors and patrons launch event and co-ordination/event management of Festival Events. (e.g venue bookings, catering, signage). Payroll, accounts payable and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Assist development and execution of creative and engaging digital marketing strategy, including social media posts, stories and reels across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, EDM's, website updates and digital billboards. Reel/video production.
  • Assist in delivery of weekly Electronic Direct Mail (EDM's). Proof reading, content and imagery creation/sourcing.
  • Manage website content and imagery updates, to keep content, key messages and imagery current, accurate and fresh across Tauranga Arts Festival Website, Ticketek, EventFinder, Loading weekly EDM's and other relevant content into news section.
  • Assist in content creation, design and production of collateral (event programmes, signage, banners, artist passes etc)
  • Provide clear brand and logo hierarchy advice and execution on brand relationship between Escape Brand and Tauranga Arts Festival.
  • Manage database to ensure all data accurate and segmented appropriately for EDM's, invitations to events and other communications with stakeholders, allies, media and audience.
  • Provide regular social media reporting using Analytics to measure reach, engagement and uptake of social media campaigns.
  • Manage volunteers for Escape Festival/Tauranga Arts Festival-recruited via EDM's and social media posts, provided clearly communicated expectations, written role definitions and Heath and Safety requirements. Point of contact for all volunteers prior to, and throughout the Festival.
