I am a year 8 currently attending Rosehill Intermediate School .
I am the youngest of 6 and was born in Auckland. My eldest brother attended Sacred Heart School as a boarding student and he is someone I admire, and would hope to follow one day.
My whanau come from the mighty East Coast where my siblings were born and raised. We travel back home as often as we can to be with whanau, sometimes for sad occasions.
My dad is a caretaker at Rosehill College and my mum is a Residential Youth worker in Manurewa.
I have attended a few schools in my education because of family circumstances so I have struggled at school. I have a passion for numeracy and only of late, literacy.
I spent the first few years of my school in Rumaki Reo at Wiri Central school, Manukau as I graduated from Nga Whare Waatea Te Kohanga Reo in Mangere. Then i transitioned to Mokai Awhina at Homai Primary in Manurewa. Due to family dynamics, I have since moved into Bilingual learning and it has been hard for me which has led into some behaviour that I wish I could change, but I am learning and trying to better myself. If I was given this opportunity I would love to grow as a young Maori and be a positive role model not only for my whanau but our community. Thankyou for your time .
-I've always been a caring learner, that takes pride in friendships I make at school and will support my friends and class mates however I can
-Wearing our school uniform with pride is something I make a huge effort to achieve including having all my resources for the day including PE gear and classroom necessities
- I enjoy playing rugby, touch and swimming at school Due to family dynamics I haven't been able to join a club Currently I am enjoying boxing as an after school activity
- Most days I am at school on time ready to learn
