Tye Francis

I am currently employed at Ebbett Tauranga as a Parts Sales Consultant. I have many customers based in and around the Bay of Plenty, of which I work with on a daily basis. My working day is spent obtaining cost estimates/quotes on products, and then using my industry knowledge to provide our customers with competitive quotes to secure sales. I also deal with the logistics of these products as we receive and organise delivery using reports and invoices to ensure that the correct product and quantity has been supplied at the correct pricing.

I liaise with the vast majority of my customers via phone, whilst also using email and online platforms to submit quotes, having been in this role for six years I am highly confident with my communicative abilities as a whole.

As assistant manager of The Fox Pub I worked closely along side my manager. This involved but was not limited to; creating reports in setting sales targets, budgeting and expense control.

Stock taking to provide more insight into product usage and popularity. Lead a team, always striving to foster a positive work environment, along with support, training and mentoring to bar staff. The opening and closing of the pub, counting/creating a report on the revenue from each day. Cultivated a loyal customer base through my exceptional customer service and ability to resolve issues quickly no matter how difficult (intoxicated) the customer was.

My role as an Auction Assistant was to provide reliable support for all my colleagues. This involved assisting the auctioneer by receiving bids via phone or online to help with the sale of vehicles. Welcoming customers, going on test drives and delivering vehicles. Working in a fast pace, team environment to ensure customer satisfaction. This is where I learned the basics of sales which has helped me in many areas later on in life.
