Sport and exercise professional with a Bachelor of Health, Sport, and Human Performance (Human Performance Science) from the University of Waikato with experience in high-performance sport, athlete development, and governance. Currently completing a Master of Health Science at Massey University, researching the effects of TRPV1 activators on fatigue and cognitive performance during physical activity.
Practical experience includes supporting elite athletes as a Strength and Conditioning Intern with the Chiefs Rugby Club, leading high school programs as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, and coaching at the international level in Olympic weightlifting. In addition, I serve on the executive board of Weightlifting New Zealand, contributing to national strategy, athlete qualification planning, and preparation for international competition.
