As a Heavy trades Purchasing Officer my role consists of being responsible for three brands across NZ and AU - Ammann, Bomag, Terex. Business to Business sales and support parts & sales staff within the organisation.

• Managing Emergency enquiries and orders: liaising with Overseas suppliers around supply, costing and lead times. Arranging delivery chain from supplier to customer.
• Liaising with suppliers to ascertain pricing and product availability for monthly stock supplies.
• Generate stock order reports.
• Placing orders and managing back-orders.
• Organising related logistics.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse during the receiving process.
• Processing warranty claims.
• Assist admin with monthly account statements.
• Assist sales staff with general enquiries.

• Providing exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and assisting them to find the right parts and accessories.
• Effectively identifying and selecting the correct parts for various makes and models of vehicles.
• Offering knowledgeable advice and recommendations to customers.
• Utilizing inventory management systems to locate and retrieve parts.
• Processing customer orders and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Collaborating with other team members to maintain a well-organised parts department.
• Handling parts returns and exchanges according to company policies.
• Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and staying informed about new parts and accessories.
