Job overview

  • This was a part time job to earn some quick cash and get somewhat experience for a future job, as I was not a kitchen hand I was solo cleaner, washing dishes and packing them, mopping, sweeping , sterilising bench tops etc … ,this role also included restocking the containers of food cleaning the bathrooms thoroughly and taking out all the trash by the end of the night
  • My responsibility was to make sure by the time everyone had finished their shifts that the whole back of the restaurant was tidy for them to set up for the new day
  • The back - kitchen, toilet, cleaning supply area, and back shed were garbage was placed.
  • Enhanced workplace cleanliness by performing thorough daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Emptied trashcans and transported waste to collection areas.
  • Maintained cleanliness of restrooms by washing down and properly sanitizing walls, floors and toilets.
  • Strengthened teamwork within the cleaning staff by actively communicating updates on tasks completed or pending work requirements.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills while managing multiple projects.
