Role: Assist residents with their activities of daily living, including toileting, changing nappies, showering and feeding. Carrying out basic health services such as monitoring vital signs, blood sugar level and weight. Communicates with other health care staffs regarding emotional, physical and symptomatic changes that have been observed in a resident. Observed proper manual handling in transferring residents.

Key responsibilities: Administered medications and implemented treatment plans. Maintained all documentation in compliance with the facility’s standards. Aimed to continuously provide residents with the highest possible level of care.

Role: Interprets and intensively check medical prescriptions to ensure accuracy. Label and dispense medications to customers, as well as advising them on the proper usage and potential adverse effects that they may experience during medication.

Key responsibilities:Communicates with medical suppliers and manage the ordering of pharmaceutical products and ensure that these products are never out of stock. Record controlled drug medication prescriptions in the record book.

• Role: Instructs the student by providing practical and theoretical education on understanding medical and emotional aspects of care, developing effective communication skills, including active listening and empathy towards patients as part of addressing potential challenges in caregiving. Instructs caregivers about self-care strategies to help them preserve their well-being to prevent burnout. Utilized educational tools and resources to support learning objectives.
