Hello, my name is Vian Grobler, I’m a 25-year-old student at Media Design School, where I pursue a Bachelor's in 3D Modeling and Visual Effects. I decided to gain industry experience before specializing in a specific field so I've completed my undergraduate diploma in Digital Media, Design and Arts alongside certificates in PLC Software Engineering. This diverse training has provided me with practical insights into the creative industry's various facets, from Adobe Creative Suite to Maya, Nuke, Blender and more, My experience spans multiple fields, including 3D modeling, VFX compositing, image and video editing, audio and music production as well as CG texturing. I have previously worked in construction and retail and during that time learned the value of hard work as well as honing my teamwork and time management skills. Furthermore my roles at Hallensteins Distribution Centre and JB-HIFI developed my ability to coordinate teams and manage tasks with precision. I’ve also volunteered with Reaching a Generation in Africa, which taught me the importance of collaboration and dedication.

I have accumulated a range of positive recommendation letters and references, that i believe accurately reflect my integrity, skill and diligence towards completing my tasks and goals to a high standard. It would be a great opportunity for me to be part of your team.

Yours sincerely Vian Grobler.

Stock Assistant
Hallensteins Brothers | Hallensteins Distribution Centre
11.2022 - 02.2023

I worked in an environment with friendly, hard working and passionate people. My job was initially to replenish stock until I learned from my co-workers and managed to move on towards a promotion from my initial job description after which I was responsible for the oversight and orchestration of the entire main Auckland distribution centre facilities digital stock input, a major responsibility that directly affects the accuracy and allocation and profit margins of the Hallenstein's brand and shipments of their Auckland wide store network, assuring accurate acquisition of clothing quantities. It was necessary for me to communicate and understand the state of tasks between the shipment team and the pick and pack team, relaying situational context to the general manager and ensuring cohesion between the digital and physical quantity for accuracy, through the management of computer input data and resolving and inputting missing stock on the distribution centre computers after digitally spotting quantity mismatches and errors as well as physically relocating the stock under the supervision of the general manager. It gave me a lot of experience to take care of such a significant responsibility. I have received a positive recommendation letter for my work ethic and devotion from the distribution centre manager.
