I am an intelligent, motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys a challenge. I have excelled in a variety of work environments in New Zealand and internationally, all of which I approach in a professional and positive manner. My strengths include interacting with people from all facets of life by establishing rapport, building confidence and providing excellent service. I am an asset in any work situation because I learn new skills fast, regularly attend professional development workshops, have fantastic communication skills, and the drive to succeed in new and challenging circumstances.

My interpersonal skills are astute as are my observation and problem-solving abilities. These characteristics allow me to overcome obstacles and work alongside my clientele and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcome. I am aware that I need to consider each person holistically. I understand that by identifying the person’s unique abilities and their potential, I can deliver a strength-based approach that enhances self-determination and will build confidence and therefore lead to greater personal autonomy for clients and the Explore team. I am a strong believer in upskilling and regularly progress my professional knowledge through formal study and professional development workshops.

• PCVE (Prevention and Countering Violent Extremism). In 2025 I joined a pool of professionals in the co-ordinated effort to strengthen Aotearoa’s disengagement capacity and add capability to support He Aranga Ake’s ability to respond.
