• Prewire and fit of house wiring and industrial wirings.
• Correctly size and installation of conduits both external and inground as requires for protection of cables.
• Installation of service mains underground and overhead and all subcircuit according to design.
• Correctly sizing and installation of earthing systems according to main supply and or bonding requirements.
• Marking and tagging for the earthing system.
• Installation of appliances - Ovens, Hob, Heated Towel Rials, Fridge etc.
• Installation of ventillation systems such as fresh air system, kitchen extractor fans or kitchen rangehoods, and bathroom extractor fans.
• Positioning and connection of Main DB's and electrical power and lightening outlets in accordance with the current stanadards.
• Protection and labelling of circuits in the Main switchboard.
• Commissioning of MEN switchboards to a high standard.
• Upgrading existing switchboards and distribution boards.
• Calculating correct maximum demand and voltage drop requirements.
• Testing the circuits and fault findings, diagnosis and repair of electrical appliances (eg. stove/oven, short circuits in switchboards, heat pumps, etc).
• Installation and commissioning extra low systems such as alarms systems and lighting.

Licences Electrician

• Work as an electrician to carry out new installations for power outlet, lighting points, non protected circuits for air-conditioning, gate motor, and etc in domestic wirings.
• Carry out installations for power outlet, lighting points, connections of single phase and three phase motors and machines in industrial wirings.
• Installation of service mains overhead and inground using correct size of cables and condiuts according to the design.
• Installation of earthing system according to main switch and bonding requirements as per wiring standards.
• Marking and tagging for the earthing systems.
• Carry out pre-inspections electrical tests and visual inspection on electrical installation to ensure standards compliance prior to connection to EFL gird for domestic and industrial wirings.
• To ensure that electrical wiring and equipment is in compliance with full requirements of Australia and New Zealand standards (AS/NZS 3000:2018 Wiring Rules).
• To attend breakdowns, fault findings, replace any fault fixtures, circuits and loose connections.
• To carry out installations for new generators with its changeover.
• To use protective device such as residual current device, circuit breakers, fuses and mian switches.
• To take out maximum demand for new connections and generator size.
• Connecting motor in star and delta connections.
• Wirings of control boards such as star delta, forward reverse and DOL.
• Find faults in all kind of motors.

Electrician

• To carry out new single phase and three phase installations.
• To carry out installations for new generators with its changeovers.
• To attend breakdowns, find faults, replace any fault fixtures, circuits and loose connections.
• To use protective device such as residual current device, circuit breakers, fuses and main switches.
• To take out wiring connections for motors.
• Rewinding of AC/DC motors and generators.
• Connecting motors in Star and Delta connections.
• Wiring of control boards such as star delta, forward reverse and DOL.
• Find faults in all kind of motors.

Building Services Site Coordinator

• Liaising with the Building Services Officer and Manager Building Services in getting the
  works done efficiently.
• As part of a team directly contribute to the efficient management of the Building &
  Services Maintenance Section by actively contributing to planning.
• Contribute to the on-going improvement of the team’s compliance with Occupational
  Health and Safety principles and procedures to ensure the safety of the public and staff.
• Ensure timely response to after-hours calls (maintenance issues).
• Undertake other duties as directed by the Manager Building Services within the skill and
  scope of the position.
• Follow up with clients to ensure work has been carried efficiently.
• Design of HVAC, Electrical and Hydraulic layouts for new projects and existing ones as
  well.
• Work hand in hand with the Building Services Officer to direct team efficiently as defects
  arise.
• Doing costing for services.
• Doing calculations for backup generator.
• Calculating AC sizes for lecture theaters, offices and computer labs.
• Taking out scopes for electrical upgrades for campuses.
• Supervising of maintenance staffs at working days and overtimes.

Electrician

• Inspect the work and make conclusion what to be done.
• Take out material list for given works.
• To attend breakdowns, find faults, replace faults fixtures, circuits and loose connections.
• Doing new installation of lighting and power outlets.
• Doing installations on projects works such as new lighting circuits, power circuits, fans and subboards.
• Installation of service mains, main switchboards, sub mains, subboards and earthing etc.
• Testing of circuits, boards and earthings.
• Doing load balancing.
• Repairing tools and machines.
• Giving feedback to supervisors upon work completion.
