In my current role as an IT Technical Consultant, I am tasked with working closely with Large Enterprise clients, designing and implementation of IT solutions, and delivering on complex customer projects in both Linux and Windows environments. These include Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, and proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives. I am experienced in working with a variety of IT and project teams, from a range of industry verticals including retail, health, education to name a few. I am passionate about optimizing resilient technical environments to meet client objectives, that adhere to New Zealand industry standards.


Some of my notable projects implemented are highlighted below:


Patient Administration System Design - Health

I successfully deployed a robust patient administration system in the health sector, architecting a high-performance setup of 12 Linux servers configured for high availability. This project involved integrating custom applications and conducting rigorous testing to ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations, significantly improving system performance and reliability.


Red Hat OpenShift Platform Deployment

I spearheaded the deployment of a Red Hat OpenShift platform, facilitating a seamless transition to OpenShift Virtualization. This enabled efficient management of virtual machines and provided scalable infrastructure for containerized applications, optimizing resource utilization and reducing the overhead associated with traditional VM management.


AI Model Training and Large Language Model Development

In AI, I led large-scale training efforts using IBM Watson X, leveraging both internal and client business data to develop models for customer sentiment analysis and data-driven compensation recommendations. These solutions provide in-depth insights into customer feedback, refining client support strategies and enhancing customer satisfaction.


Server Automation with Ansible

I led automation projects using Ansible playbooks to streamline server build processes for 200–300 servers, implementing automated procedures for critical tasks such as file system mounting, user and root password updates, and software patching. This significantly reduced manual workloads and enhanced operational efficiency across the server landscape.


Daily Systems and Infrastructure Monitoring

Proactive monitoring and maintainance of Linux servers and IBM storage solutions ensured systems adhered to performance baselines. This approach enhanced stability, security, and performance by promptly identifying, addressing and resolving any issues.
