- I oversee the access control, CCTV, Key technology & Duress systems including lone worker and the digital Radio Network on all of the hospital campuses
- I have a direct feed into the manned services and act as the security manager in his absence
- My duties include:
- Controlling one of the largest access control systems in New Zealand containing over 700 access controlled doors and 17000 users
- Working with key stakeholders in the business and external contractors to ensure the system is operating at peak performance to allow complete control of the hospital
- Taking full responsibility for all security projects including budget control – liasing will all department managers and staff to ensure service delivery is maintained
- Controlling the programming and implementation of our digital radio network and our GPS monitored Duress alarm system
