I am currently working from the Wellington branch of Vulcan Ullrich Aluminium. Hired to assist with internal sales and counter sales to account holders and cash callers. Varied office duties. Working in the stores including driving forklifts. Have learned a lot about the Anvil system and how it works.

This was a very challenging role. The timing of a partnership and being in the hospitality sector was brutal.

Leasing a premises in Wellington CBD with a complete rebuild to the shop fitout which I personally completed myself.. Once the cafe was operational I was in control of all operations in the duties of running a cafe. Making and overseeing food prep. Making the drinks , coffee included. Customer satisfaction was a key to us so made sure that the service and food was immaculate.

Being tasked by the Hotel owner to build a new separate wing to the hotel. I was given the responsibility of the build from the Foundations to the final Code Compliance Certificate. This was a massive logistical challenge as the Chatham Islands sit 600 km East of new Zealand. I was also a very hands on person to the build. Being responsible for the build also included meeting Bank report targets and ensuring costs were kept to budgets that I was also involved in, and made the targets to work to. I had to deal with the architect and all of the engineers in the build being, structural, electrical ,fire. I organised all of the contractors for the build, And their materials to be on site when they were on the Island too. I needed to ensure all building materials were ordered and either shipped or flown in on time. Some materials I needed to get from the Netherlands. This was the cladding. This was also a high end build so an eye to detail was needed.

I built foundations and cover satellite dishes with a radome.

This role was working for Rocket Lab who have 2 satellites on the Chatham Islands. One of them tracks the rockets from Mahia Peninsula and the other relays the data. I needed to build the foundations and construct the domes which were a carbon fibre composite. Having to absolutely ensure there was no damage to any of the satellite dishes. A short project that was completed on time with no damage and a happy client.

I was hired by Fulton Hogan to build a 3 bedroom house and a 6 person accommodation unit made from containers with decks.

This role was as a builder and a plumber. Having to build a new spec house with accommodation for workers. In addition I needed to complete all of the plumbing involved. Installation of the 3 x 30,000 litre rain tanks and a 10,000 litre sewerage tank and drip lines.

To build a new 350sqm architecturally designed house made from structurally insulated panels. Building and managing works which involved all site visits from engineer's and councils. This was from start to completion.
