  • Currently Area Operations Manager covering Wanganui, Palmerston North, Levin and Kapiti. Making sure the day to day running of all plants, dealing with any HRS issues, maintenance programme and any issues. Over all managing large projects eg – 3000 M3 pours at Ohakea, 1200M3 PT slab pours on large warehouse floor in Wanganui, Palmerston North and Levin. Supporting my supervisors with any issues they may run into, negotiating supplies of aggregate, sand, cement and any specialist products the customers require while helping to support any environmental programmes and just making sure everyone is in a good, happy and feel supported space. While being employed at Firth, I have completed a “Gear Up” accelerating leadership course, “Power Up” Leadership course and came in the top 4% in the FBUSay 2023. Wayne has also lead change in the structure and attitude across the four plants he covers, also made the Palmerston North plant the top producing and viable plant out of 82 plants in New Zealand and financially the soundest.

  • In 2014 I was approached by Bulklines to open a depot in Feilding. Bulklines operates 100 truck and trailers nationwide. When I opened the Feilding depot I started with two truck and trailers, which I have grown to 13 currently. I expanded the business of bulk cartage in a very competitive market, while pricing major jobs and completing them on time in a national market. While building the business I was also:

  • I was a self-employed building, building and renovating on domestic, light commercial and large commercial builds. While running my own business I was quoting on house builds, had a local government contract on maintaining and renovating the community flats around the Feilding community, quoting on major insurance jobs which included house fires, flooding and vandalising etc.
