I am a passionate educational practitioner who believes that we need to work together to ensure best practice occurs inside and outside the classroom. This includes the immediate and extended whānau, student's voice - age and disability appropriate, outside professionals and education all working together in the best interest of the child. Recognise the specific cultural needs of Māori with practical applications of the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi and Pacifica student's specialising in bridging the gaps for the whānau who are reluctant to participate in their tamariki education.
