Summary

Kiaora,
I am excited to apply for the Dairy Farm Manager position available. My career in the dairy industry began straight out of school, and despite exploring different career avenues, I have continually found myself drawn back to dairy farming.
In my current role as Second-in-Charge, I have developed a well-rounded skill set that aligns with the responsibilities of a Dairy Farm Manager. Here’s an overview of what I can offer:
Animal Care: I handle all aspects of animal care, including feeding, health monitoring, and milking operations, ensuring optimal productivity and well-being of the livestock.
Daily Operations: I manage equipment maintenance, cleanliness standards, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, addressing issues proactively to keep operations running smoothly.
Team Management: I assist in leading the team, providing guidance, training new staff, and organizing daily tasks to ensure efficiency and cohesion.
Record Keeping: I maintain records of milk production, feed usage, livestock health, effluent and any other records that may need keeping.
Feed and Supplies Management: I oversee the ordering and inventory of feed and supplies, ensuring they are properly stored and utilized.
Quality Control: I contribute to maintaining high standards for dairy products and hygiene practices, supporting the farm’s reputation for quality.
Planning and Coordination: I help plan daily activities and manage special projects, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
Administrative Support: I assist with various administrative tasks, including preparing reports, managing budgets, and handling paperwork.
Outside of work, I engage in several hobbies that keep me balanced and motivated. I have a passion for motorbikes, which I enjoy working on during my downtime. Tattooing is another creative pursuit of mine, and I also cherish spending quality time with my family. Additionally, I am a fan of UFC and find fishing to be a relaxing escape.
Managing a busy household with my partner, our two children, and our dog, along with two additional kids who visit every other weekend, has helped my organizational and multitasking abilities. These skills, combined with my dedication and work ethic, would make me a valuable addition to your team.
I would be thrilled to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your farm. I look forward to discussing how my skills and background align with the goals of your team. Please feel free to contact me at 02109067759 or williams378ben@gmail.com to arrange a time for us to talk.

Thank you for considering my application.
Sincerely,
Ben Williams.
