• Shooting and hauling commercial fishing nets on a deep-sea trawler boat (F.V Ocean Dawn)

• Fixing and repairing fishing nets when damaged.

• Repairing buoyancy objects and ropes.

• Splicing mega wire.

• Hauling and storing fish from the sea straight into the freezer.

• Working 6 weeks at sea per trip.

• Operating a single axle Over head crane at heights.

• Operating Heavy machinery for fish processing.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safety of myself and my work co-leagues.

• Trouble shooting and doing visual checks daily on equipment to avoid near misses and fatal injures occurring.
