Yufei Ji

I graduated with a Master degree in the University of Otago in 2022. After that, my husband and I went back to our hometown in China to get married. Due to the Covid-19, we planned to build our small family first. Then we had our fist baby (Bella) in 2023. Bella is ready to daycare now. So, I think it is a good time for me to pursue my own career.

My undergraduate knowledge mainly focuses on the basics of various contents, such as how to skillfully use Java, Python, C and other programming software. During my postgraduate study, I paid more attention to data processing. My research topic during my postgraduate study was "How to judge the specific process of brushing teeth by collecting data of wrist movements".

During the 5-year uni study, I mastered the ability of teamwork. I had to work in several teams to complete many projects for different papers. During this process, I learned a lot of ways and skills to communicate with others and how to deal with the contradictions between team cooperation. Time management is an other ability I mastered due to that I need to efficiently and effectively complete several tasks assigned by my tutors under pressure. I am a "can-do" person and will always ask "why" if there is anything uncertain. I believe details determine the success of a whole project especially in IT area. All my efforts and abilities mentioned were reflected by the A grades on the final exams of several data-related papers. Therefore, I believe that I am well qualified for the Junior IT support engineer position advertised by your company.
