Summary
I have been in the Construction indstry for the past 11 years. i started out in the roofing industry but due to Wellington weather i wanted to upskill as there was to much down time during winter. I was employed by SGB Construction as a building labourer and roofing foreman. After finding a passion for building and wanting to up skill from my roofing qualification i enrolled as a building apprentice. Throughout this time SGB Construction undertook multiple residential renovations and extensions that i was able to be a valued team member in, completing the projects to a high standard. I found myself extremely attracted to the fact we were main contracts on every job we completed, this required a lot of management and communication to ensure all components of the build had been accounted for. SGB obtains a lot of their work due to referrals from existing customers, this is a testament to our building ability and also our customer relations.
