Zachary Taylor

An enthusiastic and driven coach who strives in helping swimmers be the best they can in and out of the water. I have a keen knowledge in swimming, with a background of competing at a national level. I currently lead both our National Silver and National Gold squads. These squads look to push to qualify and compete highly at National Age group championships, National Secondary School Championships, and Division 2 Championships. I also coach our Regional Performance program, as they look to compete at a regional level, in junior and local competitions. With a degree in sport coaching and sports science, I have an eye for the finer things when it comes to swimming and coaching. This ranges from understanding the biomechanical and physiological aspects of swimming as well as creating and planning effective season and session plans to suits all swimmers and their needs.

• Lead Successful Division 2 and national Age group championship Campaigns.
• Medals at a range of National Events including; National Age Groups, Division 2 Championships, New Zealand Open Water Championships, New Zealand Short Course Championships, and New Zealand Secondary School Championships
• Coached swimmers onto the National Age group program.
• Coach a Waikato Representative team that represented at Queensland State Championships in 2022
• Coached swimmers to Waikato age group records.
