I am passionate about recognising and nurturing the unique strengths of each child by providing meaningful and interest-based learning experiences. I value and respect each child's voice, fostering a supportive and respectful learning environment where children learn through play, exploration, and positive relationships.
During my time at Busy Bees, I developed the ability to respond to a variety of challenges with flexibility and confidence, while ensuring effective supervision and maintaining a high standard of care. I consistently demonstrate strong engagement and energy in my work, fully committed to the education and wellbeing of every child.
Guided by the principles of Te Whāriki, I have integrated my personal teaching philosophy—discovering and supporting each child’s individual spark—into my daily practice, growing into a capable and responsive educator who is always ready to embrace new challenges.

Creating an inclusive environment that allows every child and their family to engage in and benefit from a range of diverse experiences. For example, in the reading area I created, there are folders showcasing each child's learning journey and a wide range of children’s books with diverse content, enabling the children to explore and engage with the values and perspectives of different cultures.

The role primarily centred on fostering children's growth through hands-on learning experiences, with a strong emphasis on safety and effective supervision.
