I was a temp that worked whenever I could. I spent most of my time unpacking and storing the contents in the back of the stockroom. If it got too overcrowded, I would be asked to fold items in the clothes section or refill the product cages.
I was a retail assistant at the Auckland Central H&M. My main responsibility was to empty the clothing from the boxes, scan the tags, and hang the items on racks so that other H&M staff could bring the items to the front for customers.
I worked as a cashier at the Mount Smart Stadium for this employment whenever there was a Warriors game. Despite the strain of having to work throughout rush hour and halftimes on my first shift as a cashier, I managed to maintain my composure despite the long lineups. I believe this job gave me a lot of skill sets that I will use in other roles.
My main job was to process ticket sales and merchandise transactions during the drag race events.
It was my responsibility to pick and package every item that was received, either in click-and-collect bags or boxes. For my first job, it was really demanding and fast-paced, and it taught me how to be patient and disciplined at work.
