My extracurricular involvement has been centred around rugby, where I have developed strong leadership, teamwork and resilience. I represented the South Island in the U18 Matatū Sevens Team at the Global Youth Sevens tournament and was a member of the U18 Hanan Shield Rugby Team from 2023 to 2025. During this time, I was awarded Forward of the Year in 2023 and Player of the Year in both 2024 and 2025 as well as captaining the team in 2025. I currently play Premier Women's Rugby for High School Old Boys and have been selected for the Canterbury FPC Invitational Group.

I also volunteered at Margaret Wilson Rest Home in 2025 during my final year of school, where I engaged in conversations with residents and helped with activities. This experience helped me develop strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds.

In 2025, I was selected to participate in the New Zealand Police Gateway Programme during my final year of school. This programme provided me with valuable insight into policing and community services through a hands-on learning environment. It gave me the opportunity to learn about the role of police in the community while developing my teamwork and interpersonal skills.
