  • Training and supervising new staff as I am Senior Funeral Director in: casket trimming, dressing, paperwork and other roles required as a funeral director
  • Completed numerous transfers of deceased from private homes, hospitals and also as coronial transport for sudden deaths.
  • Provide grieving families with a professional service at a sensitive time.
  • Arranged and undertaken funeral/memorial services for grieving families. Meeting their needs and expectations as best as possible.
  • Ordering and monitoring stock for products in the workshop including caskets, trimming supplies for caskets, urns, and other memorialisation products.
  • Regular cleaning throughout the funeral home including scrub downs, mopping, washing of company vehicles etc to ensure we provide a high quality service to our community.
  • Liaise with clergy, ministers, sextons, celebrants and other external personnel to arrange funeral services.
  • Embalm independently.
  • Currently completing the Diploma in Funeral Directing online with Open Polytechnic.
