I started at Dynex back in 2005 with the dispatch team as a pick packer, after a year and half i transferred to the die room as a tooling technician. where i started my first big project of reorganizing the die room from the ground up, i worked as a tooling technician for 6 years before becoming the day shift 2IC. for the last two. I have worked very closely with Mark Vince during this period, on regular bases i would cover the team leaders role while Mark Vince was away.
Towards the end of last year 2023 i worked very closely with Mark Vince learning the team leader role in more depth i.e. learning the admin requirements required by the team leader. Since taking over the team leaders role as interim team leader i have developed a good working relationship with the senior management.
I have completed the team leader courses and numerous health & safety courses, i was chair of the health and safety committee for two years.
My biggest accomplishment for me over the past 10 years is improving the die room layout, upgrading everything from the tables, racking, die boxes or documentation.
My other accomplishment is the knowledge i have gain from working with all part of the business i have been involved in many different areas within Dynex i.e. health & safety committee chairman, internal auditor, union delegate or 2IC
