1. Engineering surveying for construction projects, setting out and as-built;

2. Quality Management Consulting services for construction projects

3. Construction Material Testing – Nuclear Density Gauge testing – obtained and maintained IANZ accreditation for Nuclear density testing, ensured compliance to ISO/IEC:17025, fulfilled my duties as the licensed Radiation Safety Officer(RSO), and licensed nuclear density gauge user.

1. Christchurch City Council - Stormwater Flood Management LDRP - 472m long Stop-bank

-Prepared SWMS for handling 4000+ cubic meter asbestos contaminated soil

-Proactive stakeholder & subcontractor management & liaison

-Ensured thorough Quality Control & Compliance

2. Lyttleton Water Main Renewals - Providing thorough Quality Control and subcontractor management
3. South East Riccarton - Wastewater renewals - Providing thorough quality control, ensured compliance

South Island branch of JFC shutdown after that.

Post covid period when NZ reopened its borders for the world- flew to California at my sister’s place to see her, my brother in law and their new borns! My parents were visiting them at the same time as well.
Stayed there until Jan’23 and then travelled to India with my parents at my home & birthplace as well as to attend a couple of weddings and engagements that went on from mid January to mid February’23.

-Worked on various designs ranging from Retaining walls, Bracing units, Rib-Raft foundations, Residential framing, fixings and connections, temporary propping, piling, etc.

-Conducted inspections for the same and more.

-Prepared and assigned inspection reports.

-Assisted with geotechnical investigations and conducted on-site tests.

-Initiated process improvement using GIS freeware and council LiDAR data, processed data for the same.

Used Trimble GNSS rover and total station for setting out and as-builts.

Conducted nuclear density gauge tests.

Ensured quality compliance and subcontractor management.

Back injury in August 2021 caused some discomfort so started looking for a more desk based role.

Unpaid internship opportunity provided from ARA Institute of Canterbury.

Multiple projects ranging from a couple days to weeks as per the client requirements. Agency would update me location and tasks and I would perform them as per directions on site. Agency helped me obtain fulltime job at Wanaka Lakefront Project as a Junior Civil Engineer working for Corde.

1. Quality control and compliance for 300km meter gauge to broad gauge railway construction project. Worked on multiple other projects as required for testing purposes. Designed Railway blanketing material.

2. Destructive/Non-destructive testing in laboratory and on-site:

Learned and performed tests ranging from Sieve Analysis to Heavy Falling Weight Deflectometer (HFWD). Sand Replacement, Modified proctor test, CBR testing, Concrete Strength test, permeability testing, Nuclear Density gauge testing, Ultrasonic concrete testing, etc.
