Monitor and maintain blends, flows, freeness and consistency of slurry to the paper machine. Controlling chemical and other additive addition to the paper making process. Fine tuning and adjusting according to quality results. Working closely with other operators management, engineers, maintenance personnel and suppliers to ensure a safe and efficient work place in a fast paced environment.

Adapted to multiple roles to ensure smooth operations during staff shortages.

Tester- Performing multiple paper tests as required to ensure quality for customers and liase with management and senior operators to maintain quality and safety

Winder- rewinding 30 tonne machine reels into customer rolls, setting cutting knives, logging data, using overhead pendant controlled cranes and quality control safely and efficiently

Dispatch-Utilised computer systems, forklifts, and railway shunters to ensure safe and efficient dispatch of domestic orders onto trucks and export orders into railway wagons.

Entry level mill position mostly driving machinery. Loading and unloading trucks, operating and loading conveyors hoppers and pulpers with forklifts, clamp trucks and loaders

Traveled abroad living in Australia, Ireland, England and Canada mostly working in construction. Did a wide variety of jobs from installing irrigation systems on golf courses to raised tile floor installations in new office blocks, concreting and shop fitting.

Responsible for the safe and efficient unloading of bales of recycled cardboard / paper from trucks and railway wagons using a forklift. Block stacking and loading bales onto conveyor to be repulped and used in the paper making process. Receipting paperwork and moisture testing bales and regular house keeping
