Working up to Pinewood standards has made me feel Im on the right path again, working with plants, trees and nature and learning new things it's what makes me happy everyday as:

• Maintaining gardens, to provide optimal growth potential to improve plant health and growth with thorough soil preparation, fertilization, mulching and irrigation techniques.
• Ensured healthy lawns using proper mowing techniques mixed with expert lawn care, mulching, aerating and trimming around walks, walls, and flower beds.
• Removed and disposed of plant debris from work sites to keep areas safe and well-organized.
• Used shears, pruners, and chainsaws to prune and trim hedges and shrubs.
• Minimized weed proliferation in landscaped areas through vigilant monitoring, manual removal, or targeted herbicide applications as needed.
• Maintained a safe working environment by adhering to industry safety standards and conducting regular equipment inspections.

Gibbston Valley it was a complete new experience great opportunity to try something new and taste amazing wines.

• Ensured cleanliness and sanitation by thoroughly washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintained a well-organized work area by consistently cleaning surfaces and organizing supplies.
• Supported chefs in food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients, peeling vegetables, and marinating meats.
• Managed time to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with ease.

Skyline provided me with the work visa and I enjoyed working there, my tasks were:

• Great customer service through friendly interactions and genuine care for their dining experience.
• Assisting in maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
• Ensure food safety compliance by properly handling, storing, and serving food items according to established guidelines.
• Cleane and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens and other similar areas according to established protocols.
• Enhanced workplace cleanliness by performing thorough daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.

Great new experience and learning about NZ grapes and wines, some of the cellar hand task were to:

• Assist with grape processing at harvest time, ensuring high-quality raw materials for wine production.
• Support the winemakers and the team in achieving desired production schedules by assisting with equipment setup, breakdown, and thorough sanitation procedures.
• Performed routine equipment maintenance, prolonging useful life and reducing repair costs.
• Enhanced wine quality by meticulously monitoring fermentation processes and adjusting temperatures accordingly.

My work at Suter Cafe was one of the best experiences I had in an industry that was new for me, they saw the potential in me and taught me the best customer service skills I could ask for. Great team. Great business.

• Handled cash transactions accurately, balancing the register at the beginning and end of each shift.

Second season in the packhouse and they gave me more responsibilities as 2nd Team Leader in the tray prep section tasks were to:

• Supervise team members to confirm compliance with set procedures and quality requirements.
• Worke with team to identify areas of improvement and devised solutions based on findings.
• Conducte training team members to promote productivity, accuracy, and commitment to friendly service.
• Held daily team meetings to inform team members on company news and updates.

This nursery taught more about nursery general maintenance job:

• Adaptability while working across diverse roles, including propagation, maintenance, retail support, and customer service functions as needed within the nursery setting.
• Reduced plant loss by promptly identifying pests or diseases and applying appropriate treatments.
• Ensured the healthiest possible plants were available for sale by routinely inspecting specimens for quality control purposes.
• Operated tractors and used wheelbarrows to move containerized shrubs, plants and trees from one destination to another.

I put all the knowledge I have gained with experience in this season and it was super satisfactory to work in such a great place. General tasks as planting, weeding, and mostly grafting citrus and avocado trees, but also:

• Maximized plant growth and vitality by carefully pruning, trimming, and shaping various species as needed.
• Facilitated efficient restocking processes by diligently unloading deliveries of new plants and supplies upon arrival.
• Optimized soil conditions for various plant species by custom-mixing nutrient-rich substrates as required.

Kiwi Fruit Season. Task was packing lots of fruit for the season 10 hours shifts.

• Maintained a clean and organized work environment, promoting safety and productivity.
• Managed workload effectively under pressure during peak periods while maintaining focus on quality control measures.
• Completed daily orders with expert picking and packing of shipments.

Working for a contractor in different orchards and a nursery it gave me more knowledge and experience with plants and trees. Awesome summer experience. Mos of the tasks were to:

• Increase overall nursery and orchard productivity by implementing efficient pruning, grafting and thinning techniques.
• Performing seasonal maintenance tasks such as picking fruit, working with pants or preparing soil for planting new saplings.
• Assisted with the planting process, ensuring proper spacing and depth for optimal tree growth and fruit production.
• Maintained consistent communication with fellow team members to ensure efficient task completion and optimal orchard performance.

General training in nursery jobs, from:

seeding, potting, planting, soil prep, grafting.

They taught me everything I needed to know to come back next season. Also part of the team work was to:

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety standards were met at all times during crafting processes.
• Clean, sanitize and restock workstation.
• Kept tools, equipment and work areas properly maintained.
