
I am currently a Silverfern Farms leader with proven leadership and motivational skills, I have successfully assisted other member within the team achieve goals. I am Respectful and able to communicate in a clear and calm manner. I can successfully facilitate hui or kōrero in a mana enhancing manner, taking into consideration Iwi dynamics, organisational privacy. I have been successful enough to build strong relationships in the company through out Aotearoa. Health & Safety is a key aspect within my current roll. Overall I have excellent interpersonal skills, good time management, knowledge and problem-solving skills which allow me to achieve a range of accomplishments not only professionally as an individual but also within a team environment.

My name is Casey Parata I am 43yrs old. My partner and I have 4 tamariki and 3 precious mokopuna . We reside in Hawera and have been living here since 2004. I am an active member within my Hapū, Marae and Iwi. I'm currently a Group Leader at Silverfern Farms managing 2 Team Leaders and approximately 53 staff . My hobbies include playing sports, the last 5yrs playing Woman's Rugby for Southern Rugby Club , before that many years playing Netball and touch at a high level and any other sports I could find. Now days you will find me on the sideline managing and supporting my tamariki and mokopuna who are all very sport orientated. I love the outdoors and spending time with my whānau & friends. I am extremely hardworking excellent at time management and being able to adapt and cope whilst under time restrictions or other pressures. My whānau are my reason, my paternal kuia & koro are very active within my Iwi and I believe this role could align with my personal values in servicing Silverfern farms our Hapori and Taranaki Iwi,
Supervised a team of 53 staff members. Attended a number of leadership training workshop
• 16yrs all most 17yrs Service at Silverfern farms- commencing from working on the line to carrying out all relevant jobs within the company to senior management.
Recently completed my Level 1 & 2 in Te reo Maori.
Have also gained a few credits in level 1 & 2 & 3 food safety .
