Oil Technician Assistant

• 350kv HVDC Cook straight cable assisted in oil processing the terminations
• Taking samples for testing and disconnecting/reconnecting oil lines.

• Successfully completed a Line Mechanic and Cable Jointing Apprenticeship. (Specialized in Cable Jointing)
• Obtained Permit holders certificate as well as LV Switching on the Orion Network.
• Experience of being in charge a variety of jobs from small LV jobs to large substation rebuilds.
• Proficient in both XPLE and Pilc Cables trained in small Pilot cables.
• Trained and capable in Live LV Jointing
• Involved in 33kv Jointing and terminations and substation upgrades.
• First Call on Fault roster for 8years + 1 year Overhead roster
• Consider a Senior Jointer and provided training and mentorship to a number of trainees.

• Ensure all my documentation was neat tidy and accurate and completed on time.
• Collaborate and communicate with the workers, managers and customers in order achieve a positive outcome.
• Maintained company vehicle and test equipment to a high standard.
