Dylan Sutherland

I have been working freelance as the Owner & Operator of Hachi Graphic Design. I have done Logo Designs along with Posters and Album Design for musicians. I am transitioning to designing clothing later this year to expand myself and my page to appeal to a larger target audience.

• During my time at NZ Van Lines my duties were packing household goods for domestic and international shipping. Unloading shipping containers, Delivering goods in work vans and Class 1 trucks. Stowing and storing cargo for delivery.

• Nightshift worker for 6 months delivery driving baked goods to the restaurants and supermarkets around the city. Delivering under a time schedule, also alongside packing the products alongside the packing team.

• Tending to all kitchen duties. From early morning arrival and preparing cabinet items, kitchen setup and cooking of meals. Providing instruction and direction to other staff. Ordering of stock. General all-rounder.

• Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, cabinet food + general upkeep of the Cafe. I worked solo here in my FOH position so multi-tasking and tending to multiple areas at once were part of a standard day for me here.

• I worked at Dux Dine for 1 year and a half. During my time working there I was the dishwasher in a very fast-paced restaurant in Riccarton, Christchurch. During this time I worked up the ladder and started making and plating desserts and working as Commis Chef.

• During my time at the café I learnt to operate all daily facets of the business, I had a high degree of interacting with the customers when I was working front of house. I was also responsible for the preparation of cabinet food and covered short order service where needed.

• Whilst working at the local supermarket I was responsible for cash handling, restocking shelves, customer service, deli prep, general upkeep of shop and general merchandising.
