  • Project formulation with a 100% success rate, and approximately US$30 million worth of resources are mobilized for projects on climate change adaptation (coastal protection, agriculture, and water resources), mitigation (renewable energy), climate change reporting (national communications), environmental governance (national capacity self-assessments, cross-cutting capacity developments, national biodiversity strategy and action plan), solid waste management (container deposit legislation), oceanic fisheries management, and intended nationally determined contributions. Concepts are prepared, consultants are hired, and contracts for preparing proposals are managed successfully, micro-assessments of potential implementing partners are commissioned, and appraisals and approvals are facilitated.
  • Projects are supported with inception phase, including establishing the project management unit, induction training, and supporting inception workshops, annual and quarterly work planning, monitoring and reporting of quarterly activities and annual results, acquittal of project funds, project audits, board meetings, annual reviews, biannual quality assurance assessments, mid-term and final evaluations, and closure.
  • The evaluation of UNDP programme and projects are fully supported and completed, and policy advisory services are supported for the development of the joint national plan on climate change and disaster risk management.
  • Results-Based Management (RBM) tools are effectively applied, and management targets on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), and the achievement of development results are consistently monitored and updated.
