- Customer Service, Consistently maintaining New Worlds high customer service expectations by unpacking the stock on to the shelf floor with an approachable nature for customers to feel comfortable seeking help.
- Supervising staff, Helping the on-duty supervisor delegate tasks to other team members while being of assistance to the merchandisers who can show up at any moment and require their stock to be readily available.
- Adhering to New Worlds Health & Safety policies and procedures, with the constant inflow and outflow of trucks coming to and from the store room, pallets coming up and down from the racking it is vitally important to obey the guidelines in place to ensure everybody feels safe coming to work.
- Deliveries: I work with all the in-store departments to ensure the ordered food and products are ready and available for me to deliver to external companies on time.

- Daking Components supplies fasteners and forged components from its manufacturing plant to other companies. My role at Daking was a week-long work experience, during which I paired myself with a different team member each day to gather insight into their role and how they all correlate and match another role to create a successful business internally and externally.
- Invoicing, gathering insight into the invoicing requirements, learning the ropes of the financial system used at Daking, how to document, report, and file invoices.
- Operations, learned what it takes to become a successful operations manager from having a bill of materials for every product to ensure correct and timely ordering of parts and whether the likes of Air freight vs Sea freight would be suitable or even to simple internal team management such as making sure storeroom team is getting parts out to local companies on time.
