I’m Evangelina, (Evie for short), I’ve just moved back to Nelson from the Chatham Islands on the 6th of June last year after working there for 6 years in Hospo & Seafood Factory Labor work. I’m moving to Christchurch once my house lease ends in January 2026 which I will be looking to take up a full time job that I enjoy as soon as I’m landed in chch. I take pride in my work and have a professional presentation & approach on all fronts of hospitality. I enjoy connecting with new people and showing them what life is about! - Started as head barista and waitress. I was FOH for about 2 years, I then moved on to assistant restaurant managing & tourism administration. Organizing tours, bookings flights and writing itineraries to suit our Chatham Island weather.
- This job was fun as I got to do a lot of hands-on work I had to liaise with a lot of sister companies including our airline that worked alongside the hotel so ensure all itineraries/flights went smoothly.

- Here I was head barista working with Molinari Coffee Beans from Italy. We were a great working team and had great communication here.

- 5:30am starts to 7pm finishes plus being able to work flexible hours was tough but good practice for my future employments.
