Kia Ora! My name is Peter Peiting Zhu. I am originally from Mainland China and moved to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2019. I obtained my Bachelor of Education (ECE) through Auckland University of Technology in 2023. I got my teaching registration and first-aid training following my studies with AUT. I am now looking for a centre where I can contribute as a permanent full-time teacher and refine my professional teaching practices within a supportive and lovely team.

I am a new graduate who has the Qualification of Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education I have gained a wide range of skills and knowledge through my study and experience in a variety of preschool settings including infants, toddlers and mixed age settings, using play-based and child-centred approaches to learning. I strive to develop strong working relationships with children and their families, and to support environments that embrace and include all children. I have a strong commitment to Te Whāriki and believe children should be empowered to learn in a holistic way. I believe as a new entrant teacher, it is important to always continue learning and improving my practice.

Passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Education (ECE) teacher with one year of experience in nurturing and supporting the learning and development of infants in a New Zealand ECE setting. Skilled in building trusting relationships with children and whānau, fostering a sense of belonging, and creating culturally responsive and inclusive learning environments.
