During this time, my family and I had just received terrible news concerning the declining health of my nana; she was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer (SCLC), and the doctors told us we only had 8 to 12 months left with her, so I, being probably her favorite mokopuna (grandchild/child), was obviously quite disheartened and distraught. I vowed to spend as much time with her as I could before she passed, and I'm glad to say I enjoyed each and every moment in aiding her rest and recovery
