- Assembled a complicated excel Cost Estimate for the Detailed Design measuring the quantities from CAD Designs to record the stage-wise changes in design and cost for the whole project.

  • National Gallery of Victoria Contemporary Pedestrian Modelling (NGVC), Victoria, NSW |

- NGV contemporary is Australia's largest ever cultural infrastructure project with more than 13,000 square metres of dedicated display space for art and design.

The dynamic model was tested in STEPs software with 12,000 pax/day for Weekend Scenario and 14,000 pax/day for Triennial Scenario to report operational/management measures to accommodate the highest visitation periods to achieve the required visitor comfort and safety as per Building Code of Australia (BCA).

- Analysed outputs of the dynamic modelling of the maximum visitations that the building size and VT provision can accommodate and provide recommendation and measures needed to facilitate desired visitation levels.

  • Secondment Contracts, Auckland Transport Operation Centre (ATOC) | Auckland

- Route Optimisation: Assisted in Optimising the signal operation of intersections along arterial roads such as Great North Road, Lincoln Road and Pakuranga Road to suit the latest traffic.

It includes observation of traffic demand during peak hours, queue management, minimise the interruption to the local activities and adjusting the settings to reduce unnecessary delays and provide safety measures for areas with high pedestrian demand.

- TMP Reviewer: Was responsible for reviewing TMP Plans whether all the necessary provisions and safety requirements for vehicles, pedestrians and the workers on site are provided along with minimal impacts on the day to day corridor traffic.

Transport Engineeer

MOTT MACDONALD NEW ZEALAND LIMITED
02.2020 - 11.2022
  • Wesley Transport Assessment,Auckland | Kainga Ora

- As a Transport Engineer, conducted the Transport Assessment regarding the impacts of movements was generated from the Wesley development to ensure access for people in cars, walking, cycling and on public transport were accommodated.

-Sidra modelling for intersections within Wesley was conducted to assess the increase of traffic volumes.

  • Auckland Airport Transport Planning - Domestic Terminal (DTB)

- As a Transport Engineer/Modeller, Vissim model was created to demonstrate Auckland Airport Domestic traffic inflow and PUDO congestion.

- The model was tested with the future forecast demands of arrivals and departure for year 2029 illustrating the interaction of PUDO vehicles, public transport, and shuttles with the pedestrians and provide a visual outcome of the designed Master plan.

- Further provided a Technical outcome demonstrating the impacts of Traffic Congestion and impacts with introduction of New Transport Hub.

  • Christchurch Multi-Use Arena (CMUA) - Pedestrians Modelling

- As a Pedestrian Modeller, conducted modelling analysis for the Christchurch Multi-Use arena using the STEPS software.

- Performed analysis of maximum egress times with interest to the green guide, queuing times, and 30000 plus spectator egress for five different scenarios.

- Provided a strategic solution with reference to infrastructure requirements while producing videos and numerical results to formularise the decision making.

  • Pedestrian & Transport Modeller - Sydney Metro Engineering Design Solutions (EDS) | Australia

- As a Pedestrain Modeller, conducted a high-level assessment of the station precinct concept design for St Marys, Orchard Hills East, and Luddenham to identified footpath sections where recommended minimum walking space widths were not achieved.

Assessment Model of the pedestrian requirements was developed based on 2056 forecast demand level to support precinct planning for the four stations at Concept Design Stage of the project.

- As a Transport Engineer, undertook an assessment of the future capacity for St Mary’s bus interchange and layover in form of an excel model using the Transit Capacity and Quality of Service Manual method to analyse and recommend capacity requirements.

This was in relation to the potential interchange and layover location and layouts with the key benefit of the ability to alter dwell times for each service type (through, commencing or terminating) with longer dwell times used for services requiring layovers.

- As the Pedestrian Modeller, Conducted STEPS Modelling analysis for several stations along the Metroline connecting to the Western Sydney Airport (WSA.)

Analysed the density of passengers within the concourse, mezzanine and platform areas for queuing times in relation to vertical transport options and platform clearance times to identify congestion points.
