As an after school student my job was to do general housekeeping and cleaning as well as occasionally helping to prepare windscreens for insertion

As a chain worker at Affco I was able to develop many skills that helped me process working at high speeds and cope in stressful situations. As a holiday job it was a high pressure environment that required much focus and work ethic.

Starting my work at Evans as an after-school student my job started with me doing tasks like customer service and cleaning. Working hard the boss offered me an apprenticeship and in the summer of 2021 I started full-time work for the next 8 months before deciding to continue my studies at University.

Despite being hired as a runner, I have spent the last 4 - 5 months as a waiter, serving and bussing tables. Through this job, I was able to grow my customer service skills as well as my ability to run both food and drinks, and with the unique hours allowed me to adjust to late night closing.
