Additional Information

Due to my growth in experience I had the opportunity to work in different countries and with different cultures. Projects in countries like South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Mozambique. Working in different countries with various cultures there are always some challenges to think of and to take in consideration from Logistics and supply chain to get supplies in over the borders, Source local companies that can do sub contract work according to specifications, hiring of short term work force and get them to comply with all health and safety standards and procedures. What material and parts can be sourced local and what needs to be imported from somewhere else.

I have worked on great projects in different parts of the mining industry from underground to open cast mining.

Starting up and manage new mining and material handling sites in different parts of the country working as subcontractor for bigger mining companies such as Aveng Mining shafts and underground , Cronimet Chrome Mining SA (PTY)LTD, Anglo American Amandelbult Mine and Stefanutti Stocks at Madupi power station.

Main reason for working in Australia was to get more exposure in a mining sector that was more mechanised and cost saving, focusing more on the underground mining methods.

Moved back to South Africa due to better offer. The experience gained over the two years in Australia came in handy when I moved back to South Africa and back into the mining industry. Me and my wife decided to move to New Zealand for a safer environment for our kids and better opportunity's for there future. Due to the demand for qualified skilled workers I have decided to apply as Automotive electrician to be eligible for a work visa while applying for residency. We have received residency in December 2021 and are on resident visas and waiting for permanent residency visas.
