In July 2022 I started working for the Hamilton City Council as a Safety Officer. As a Safety Officer I worked within a large team of people from very different backgrounds to ensure the safety of Hamiltonions. I did this by performing business checks routinely, being a visible presence and interacting with members of the public.

I was also a CCTV Operator for City Safe and interacted frequently with The New Zealand Police to help track down people and vehicles of interest. Also, when I was on CCTV for Hamilton I answered phone calls from members of the public answering any questions they had and recording any relevant information and passing it on to the relevant department/people if necessary.

• Worked at Altus Steel where I stacked steel, cleaned the work area, made sure order information was correct, all while working in a team environment

• As a security guard at I interacted with event goers, inspected accreditation to confirm validity, conduct bag searches and patrol events to make sure patrons and property were safe among other tasks.

• At ACM I was an Armoured Vehicle Operator. I had to drive long distances, work within a time schedule to deliver/receive cash from businesses/banks for transport, replenish/empty ATMs and sign documents ensuring all information was correct.

• I had to help customers find products, organise stock, stack displays in a tidy manner, work in a team environment within a time frame and clean up damaged products etc.
