- Performed physical activities requiring heavy lifting and long periods. This included assisting build of a retaining wall for a footpath next to a railway.
- Ensured compliance with local building codes when installing new drain systems.
- Collaborated during multi-phase projects involving multiple teams to prioritize the critical path.
- Adhered strictly to company policies regarding safety protocols while performing tasks.
- Managed sites by focusing on safety, operations and productivity.
- Used dig permits to highlight caution when digging around existing systems eg electricity, enable cables, sewers.

I now understand why wharves, bollards, piles, mooring are used and how load is distributed through these. This internship gave insight to the experience and quality expected of an engineer which gave me something to strive for when I leave university.
