Summary

I am looking for a teaching position in a primary school.

I’m keen to explore ways to connect with people who are interested in student centered teaching, and are figuring out how to navigate a Teaching – Focused career path. I have been passionate about teaching from the earliest days of my academic career. After completing high school, I enrolled at Lautoka Teachers College and completed my Diploma of Education in two years of training. I was then appointed to a primary school in Fiji in 2009. I enjoy developing positive relationships with children and their families while fostering their curiosity and love for learning. While in the field of teaching, I completed my Bachelor of Education (Primary) in year 2017. This helped me a lot in gaining more knowledge on teaching and learning. Since then, I have worked with many children who have diverse learning and social needs. I have taught schools in urban and rural settings. I have also worked with student with special needs in inclusive schools. Seeing these children grow in confidence and realise their own strengths has been a privilege.
